Just to support the argument that Video Camera Makers should integrate flash( because a 4 part article isn’t enough) and we can expect Smartphones and Tablets to integrate more memory.
As reported by the Apple Insider, the Innovator announced double-speed ThunderBolt under the code name Falcon Ridge this Monday.
If I were building a camera today, I would build 1 chip. I would offer 3 versions of that Camera
Camera makers can make more money by embedding NAND Flash in their cameras.
On my last Ski Vacation, I overfilled my GoPro video camera with videos. I used a 32 GB SD card. I have 3 32GB SD Cards. I decided to stop buying them because I don’t want to keep buying cards. I know several people who just buy the cards, and store them forever.
