Belkin announced the release of the very first USB 3.0 Docking Stations specifically targetted at tablet PCs.
The design is such that it allows the simultaneous use of 3 screens: the tablet screen and 2 screens attached to the docking station.
At this time, the docking station supports Windows 8 Tablets which means that the same USB drivers are available for that tablet.
DisplayLink demonstrated something like this at CES in our video here
It’s just one way, Synopsys customers like DisplayLink are enabling the use of your portable tablets like a full PC with your big monitors and full sized keyboards.
