We demonstrated our USB 3.0 IP at DesignCon 2010. This is significant because it was our first public USB 3.0 Demonstration of our USB 3.0 PHY IP.
The demonstration also shows that it interoperates with a standard USB 3.0 Host and PHY, in this case the NEC Host controller.
The platform uses our HAPS hardware and our USB 3.0 PHY daughter card. This implementation is similar to a USB Flash/Thumb Drive, except a whole lot bigger because it’s an FPGA.
