Richard Solomon

Richard Solomon is a senior staff technical product manager for PCI Express Controller IP for the Synopsys Solutions Group. He has been involved in the development of PCI chips dating back to the NCR 53C810 and pre-1.0 versions of the PCI spec.He has served on the PCI-SIG Board of Directors for around 20 years, and is currently the vice-president of PCI-SIG as well as co-chair of the Compliance Workgroup. Richard holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rice University and 27 US Patents, many of which relate to PCI technology.
