Don't miss bloggers' BoF at ICCAD – Nov 12, 2008
Posted by Karen B on November 6th, 2008
Next week, another bloggers Birds-of-a-Feather session will be held at ICCAD. We will gather on Wednesday, November 12, from 4-6pm at the Doubletree hotel in San Jose, California. The event will be in the Fir ballroom, and everyone is welcome. Be sure to come – you don’t have to register for the conference.Â
There are so many stories about blogging in the standards game that I’m not sure what I’m going to talk about in my 3-minute, 3-slide timeslot. Is there anything you’re interested in hearing from me? Post your comments below and I will certainly consider your suggestions.
I hope to meet many of you at what should be an interesting and interactive event.

ICCAD bloggers BoF birds of a feature

I can hardly believe it. I’ve been in the EDA business since 1980 when I joined TI’s Design Automation Department after graduating from Cal Poly with my BSEE. Since 1995, much of my attention has been focused on EDA standards. I reached a moment of truth this year when I admitted, albeit reluctantly, that I could be called a standards-lifer. So, I decided it’s time to share my perspectives on what’s going on in the standards arena. Welcome to my blog - I can’t wait to hear from you!

Interesting tag – “birds of a feature”…
Anyway, unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it, it would have been nice to meet another group of bloggers. It’ll be interesting to see if as many members of the trade press are there this time, or whether their curiosity was satisfied last time around.
Have fun,
JMF
P.S. – How about DFT Digest on your blogroll? You’re on mine…
Too bad – I’ll miss you. I was absent for the DAC bloggers’ BoF, and I heard I missed an interesting time.
Check my blogroll now.
Take care,
Karen
I really wanted to develop a small remark to say thanks to blogs.synopsys.com for some of the amazing recommendations you are writing at this website. My considerable internet look up has at the end been recognized with brilliant suggestions to exchange with my guests. I would assert that we site visitors actually are quite lucky to exist in a wonderful community with so many outstanding people with very beneficial principles. I feel very much fortunate to have used your entire webpage and look forward to many more brilliant times reading here. Thanks once again for all the details.
