Conversation Central Goes Global
Posted by rick jamison on June 3rd, 2010
Synopsys launched an event at DAC last year called Conversation Central — a series of 27 social media-related interactive sessions led by well-known EDA bloggers, social media experts, and experienced journalists.
The sessions were so well attended and well received that we will be hosting an all-new Conversation Central event at this year’s Design Automation Conference, but with an Internet-appropriate twist: we’re going global.
Just as Web 2.0 has empowered and enabled interactive conversations among anyone with an Internet connection, so too will this year’s Conversation Central enable online participation. In addition to the actual sessions scheduled to take place at Synopsys’ main booth (#595), all 27 Conversation Central conversations will be broadcast and open to callers through blogtalkradio.com.
To join the conversation from a remote location, simply call (877) 439-2972 within the US or internationally at +1 (646) 200-4379 when the show you want to listen to is scheduled to start. To ask a question or talk with the featured guest, press 1 on your phone and you’ll be queued up to participate.
After DAC is over, you’ll also be able to listen to any of the Conversation Central sessions, which will be archived for free access on the ConversationCentral site.
I’m scheduled to host 3 of the upcoming sessions and would be delighted to have you join any of them as a participant. Here’s the full line-up of all 27 sessions: Conversation Central Schedule.
