On this episode, we had the pleasure of talking to Dr. Peter Ateshian, who drove all the way up from Monterey, California to join us in the studio for this technically-intriguing yet approachable program.
Generally speaking, the semiconductor industry’s most advanced node today is 22 nanometers (as named by the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors – ITRS). Peter discusses the amazing technology below 22 nanometers being developed at the Naval Postgraduate School and other research institutions. Such advanced technology includes complementary carbon nanotube transistors and diamond-silicon based gallium nitride transistors.
