Conversation Central had a change of scenery as we had the privilege of escaping our Mountain View recording studio and broadcasting live from the MP Associates Inc. office in Colorado. Our honorable guest was the 2010 Phil Kaufman Award winner, Pat Pistilli.
Pistilli shared with us how he felt when he first found out that he was going to receive the Phil Kaufman Award. He also took us back in time to look at the history of how he and his wife, Marie, started MP Associates and gave birth to the first DAC.
Through the eyes of DAC’s founder, we are shown where Pistilli sees DAC in the future. He strongly believes that the EDA industry is a vital player in the continuous advancement of technology, and DAC is an essential component to the industry. In relation to this, he shares his answer to one of the top questions he’s been asked since he received the Phil Kaufman Award: “Are trade shows dead?”
